Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve never taken a boxing lesson before?

Newbies are the greatest part of our gym. Because we’re a family run gym, everyone that attends has become family. Our more senior fighters help mentor new fighters. We’ll help you reach your fitness goals. NFWA classes are high intensity and non-contact. You’ll do all the punching, and we’ll teach you how to throw them correctly. At NWFA we take pride in being the most approachable gym in the area. Stop by and say hello, we know you’ll feel as at home here as you do in your living room.

Is boxing a female friendly sport?

Of course! NWFA even offers ladies’ night once a month where we invite all of our ladies to come in for a ½ price lesson and we encourage you to bring your friends. Guys, you’re welcome to join the ladies that evening too but the discount is only for the ladies!

Do you have free parking available?

There is plenty of parking in the lot where we are located and parallel parking along the street.

What is your membership policy?

What if I’m under 18?
